‘Chunche’ mural in Nicaragua. I fell in love with this tiny pottery vessel in Nicaragua. I think it was originally from Peru. It spoke to me so I made a small drawing in my sketchbook. It then became a small mural and a tattoo on my arm, a momento of an amazing experience in this part of the world. ‘Chunche ‘ is Nicaraguan slang for ‘thingy’ when you can’t remember the name of something. You were busy painting a mural (the hostel where you were living) when we wandered past on an a visit to Valparaiso one afternoon last month – wee were on an organised tour the length (not so much the breadth!) of Chile. I took your card – if you’ve any photos of the finished item, do post them. I’d love to see, and share with my friends from the tour.
If this links to my blog (which I’m trying to avoid) you don’t need to read it. It’s just me firing off about Brexit!
